After the auction, you will receive payment for the sale of your item(s) within 30 days of MSA receiving full payment, in good funds, from the buyer. The amount you will receive will be the hammer price (price that your item sells for at auction) less our commission and any other fees that have been agreed upon.
In some cases, your items may not be immediately sold at an auction but will sell as a post-auction sale several days after the auction concludes. This sometimes happens when someone changes their mind who either bid or did not bid and now would like to acquire the item.
In the event that bidding on your item does not meet the minimum reserve price, we will not sell the item in a post-auction transaction (unless you agree). Some consignors elect to take back the items that do not sell, while others decide to offer it in a later auction. In consultation with you, we will agree on the next steps.
However, a credit card must be on file in order to place a bid.
